I mean, YES! it is soooo great to spend time with the ones you love, having holiday cheer and giving and getting. But with these things there can also be so much stress. And for some folks, it can put a real damper on the Joy the holiday season is supposed to bring. The stress can be unbearable and can rob you AND the ones you spend time with of wonderful memories and chances to give of your heart and soul (as well as the same for others) because of things we hold on to from the past. We also create scenarios in our mind that may not even exist that can ruin a beautiful time. Or conversely, we can hold lofty expectations and be sadly disappointed when things don’t turn out how we had hoped.

I came across two very interesting articles today, as a matte of fact that I felt were VERY worthy of sharing with you. So, I will let you follow the links to these two articles that are from different authors but sing the same song!

The first article I came across today is from Gabby Bernstein. Gabby is a   the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Universe Has Your Back, and has written five additional bestsellers. She was featured on Oprah’s SuperSoul Sunday as a “next-generation thought leader,” and The New York Times named her “a new role model.” She appears regularly as an expert on The Dr. Oz Show and co-hosted the Guinness World Record largest guided meditation with Deepak Chopra. Find out here the 6 things Gabby suggests to  do to avoid family drama this holiday season.

Another article, which I came across after I picked up a free publication, Natural Awakenings. Jam packed with lots of information, this little health and wellness periodical is rich on great info! One article I found in it is from James Baraz. James gives us six ways to bring on Joy. If your joyful “meter” needs a little boost, click here for some encouragement!
