Money Mavens…women and money. How they make it AND keep it!

What you can learn from women who create financial wealth from usual and NOT so usual ideas, and what can be learned from them to make it work in YOUR life!

In my 9-5, I come across women, so many of them, who make ALOT of money. Sometimes it is the “normal” way of what you would think: retirement (after 30+ years with an employer), marriage, inheritance or alimony. But sometimes, more often than not it isn’t. No, it is from investing, time effort and a certain amount of money. And believing

So, it got me thinking, what are some of the stories to these women, and others all across America who how found the a couple of secrets and ran with them.

One secret is, they believe in themselves. They have wonderful self confidence. They trust their instinct. In a recent podcast on Afford Anything, the host Paula Pant interviews millionaire Emma Pattee about her journey to her millions. She made hers by working her day job, frugalizing every penny and bought her first home. She goes onto say that she continued to live like she was still in college. She had enough roommates to cover the rent, thus living rent free. She goes on to tell the rest of her story. It’s a great one if you want to catch it. The point of this particular story was she believed in herself enough to move forward with her dream. She wanted to be a home owner. Check! And then bought another, and so on and so on. She knew she could do it and did. Now, those rentals support her livelihood. Oh… almost forgot to mention Emma is 26. And Paula Pant herself is a millionaire at the ripe old age of 34. These girls did it ON THEIR OWN!

The second things all of these women have in common is they have a healthy relationship with money. They do NOT have a scarcity mentality. They believe money is energy. And this mentality flows over into all areas of your life. Natalie Bacon, of NatalieBacon.com has a wonderful course entitled Money Mindset where she dives into what you think money is, how to make it and make it grow.

These two resources are just a touch of some of the wonderful information out there to rock your finances. On my personal journey, after LOADS of epic fails, I finally figured these two things out! It’s NOT about someone taking care of you, although nice, but not necessary. It’s NOT about the inheritance, alimony etc. Those can all be gone in a heartbeat. But believing in yourself and having a healthy relationship with money is imperative to having more or creating wealth with what you have.

If I can tell anyone what to do with their money is to check your belief in you and your emotions about money. If either one of these are out of check then a check up from the neck up is in order! Check out my two recommendations above to learn more about these two topics. They refer others and they refer others. Open a whole new world to yourself. You deserve it!
